Welcome to University Park Elementary! Home of the Pandas

Dear Panda Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at University Park Elementary—where every child is known, valued, and inspired to achieve! Whether you are returning to our school family or joining us for the first time, we are so excited to partner with you on this incredible journey.

At University Park, we believe that kids are amazing. They are curious, creative, resilient, and capable of achieving great things. Our students are not just learners—they are leaders, problem solvers, and owners of their learning. Every day, we encourage them to be respectful, responsible, and to rise to challenges with confidence.

We are proud to be a Leader in Me school, helping every student develop the habits and skills they need to succeed academically and in life. We believe in learning at high levels for all students, and we are committed to providing meaningful instruction, strong academic support, and a joyful school experience that empowers every Panda to grow.

Attendance is essential! When students are here, they are learning, building friendships, and staying on track for success. We encourage all families to make daily attendance a priority—because every day counts!

We also know that education is strongest when schools and families work together. We invite you to be active partners in your child’s education. Whether you're volunteering, joining a school event, or simply talking with your child about their learning, your support makes a big difference.

Thank you for choosing University Park Elementary. We can’t wait to see all the ways our Pandas will show up, work hard, and shine bright this year!

With Panda Pride,

Dr. Tracy Shenuski
